Day 14

Okay. So Monday morning, Julian got up at 6am, not thrilled about it so we decided to go for a walk. It was still cool, it was an awesome surprise. We walked the neighborhood for about a half hour. Then Monday night, I went to the gym w/ Vincent. One of my main goals is to be able to run. I have never been a runner and always wanted to. I was always one of the last to finish the mile in P.E. My sister loves to run and has inspired me. So last night at the gym I would walk a few minutes and then run for 30 seconds. I eventually built up to run for 1 min 15 seconds which is minimal but a big accomplishment for me! Then I did some weights. Tonight is my body jam class which I am SO psyched for!



Now, if I could get people to stop bringing over desserts for my dad this diet would be going much better. Yesterday on the scale I was at 212.2, up a bit but I'm working on it! I want to be out of the 210's by next Monday!

Body Jam

Actually went to my first class last night. Big time dancing class. It was so much fun. Being in a class really made me keep going and push myself where on the treadmill maybe I wouldn't have. They have those classes on Tuesdays and Fridays so I'll totally have to keep doing that one! I am not the best dancer but they are still so much fun! I'll do my official numbers on Monday.

First Day at the Gym

Finally went to the gym! And did 40 minutes on the treadmill and it felt awesome. Mainly just that I actually did it felt awesome. I watched biggest loser while I was there. They showed a caesar salad from a fast food restaurant it had 1010 calories, can you believe that? It's insane! I think I gained about two pounds back from being sick, but I'm saying that's probably because I didn't eat for those five days so when I did eat... I don't know.

While I was there they were doing the body jam class. I think I really wanna try that. I also love the spin classes, I need to start going more often.

I am so not okay with I look post Julian, but I wasn't okay with how I looked before this pregnancy either. It is time to step it up and make some changes!!!

CHANGES SO FAR:

No soda, and mainly just water.
Joined the gym
Limited sweets at night

THINGS I NEED TO DO:

Better meal options
Get a pair of good shoes to exercize in
Man up and take some classes at Fitness Works!

Day 6

Results but not the right way....

Well, Saturday I did go to the gym and I lasted about 2 minutes on the bike before I started feeling really crappy. I haven't been sick like this in a VERY long time. I did a couple machines but then I just had to come home. However, weighing myself...I am down 5 1/2 pounds as of Sunday. I know it is from being sick and not eating but man I hope those pounds stay off. Hopefully this week I'll feel good enough to exercize.

Planning a cruise in May and hoping to be bathing suit ready. It has been such a long time since I have been confident in how I look. I'm seriously committed to this! Having kids will not be my excuse!!!

Not much to say.....

Oh man! I totally wanted to be able to post today with some awesome inspiring results but I've been seriously sick. I missed my first day of work since I started here a year and a half ago. I feel a bit better today so am hoping to make it to the gym at some point today.

Haven't eaten in the last 2 days due to being so sick...I know it's bad to say but maybe it'll give me a couple pounds off to start out with.
